Throw back blog... "Faith is not an option"

Greetings Saints –

So I said to myself that I wasn’t going to write anymore of these but for some reason I think that these little notes might be beneficial to someone. Even though I’m not totally sure that they do, but hopefully it does.

Thinking about all the things that are going on in the world today can be very exhausting and frustrating, to even ponder on. Many of us have experienced financial hardship, emotional strain, headaches, and heart aches. These things caused me to ask God a few questions regarding the time and season that we are in.

During the numerous conversations and prayer sessions, it was revealed to me that in this season faith is not an option. What do I mean? Well if you don’t activate faith during this season you will fail and even fall out of course as the world systems are currently (Ps 82:5). The reason that the world systems are out of course is because it is time that the God systems be activated. The God systems must and can only be activated through prayer and fasting. Our prayer and fasting edifies our spirit so that we can do Gods work here on earth.

My prayer is as the gospel writer Luke’s. I pray that your faith fail you not (Luke 22:32). This isn’t the time to give up on God. I know that it might see like the best thing with our natural or corporal eye, but we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7). This is why Jesus called the church folks of that time hypocrites’ because he was confused to how they would discern the weather but had no idea of what was occurring in the spirit realm (Matt. 6:3). Let us not be the same.

Let us not attempt to only discern what is happening here but let us set our affections on things above (Colossians 3:2). Let us look to Jesus and ask (in the words of Bishop Paul Morton) what are you doing in this season, and whatever you do, don’t do it without me.

This is actually a perfect season for you to receive a miracle. Not believing for a miracle but receiving one (Act 19:2).

yours in his service,
